For several year's I watched a woman at a local bingo hall win literally hundreds of dollar's each week! She was very lucky. Eventually we became "bingo acquaintances" and would sit together on occasion. After month's of getting to know each other, I asked Misty if she wanted to split sometime just for fun. Well, she wasn't thrilled about the idea but eventually came around one evening on our way to the Ft. Pierce Bingo Hall. The hall's Friday night program has several big money jackpots, giving player's plenty of chances to win. When the first big jackpot coverall game came around, she was waiting on several number's for the win. To our shock, she won that game by herself to the tune of $2,000. We were so tickled that we joked about being satisifed and leaving the hall early to go shopping. On the flip side, I felt bad that she won all that money and had to split with me. To make matter's worse for me, she won the second $2,000 jackpot as well! Now we are splitting $4,000 and although I was ecstatic, I was also mortified that I had not won a single dime. When the second half began, the final jackpot of $2,000 was up for grabs. During the game, Misty was watching both our cards and suddenly she holler's by herself for a late bingo, jump's up and runs around her chair several time with her arm's flapping abover her head (the bingo dance). She ran over to the hall telephone booth to call her husband while I was still sitting in the dark. I still had yet to register anything when I heard her say, "OMG, honey I'm splitting with Shelly tonight and she just hit for four thousand dollars!" I had hit on the money-ball number B-8. After hearing her, I began to shake and tremble out of control! I've never won more than $250! I shook so hard that I proceeded to fall backwards out of my chair and onto to the floor. We split $8,000 that night and according to the players, gave everyone a great show! We now play bingo together twice a week and always split. We are also best friends for life now and will always remember that night!!
